The Future of Protein Production Chicago postponed to February 2026
The organizer of The Future of Protein Production Chicago conference and exhibition, Future-Proof Group Media, has announced that the event, originally scheduled for 29/30 April 2025, will now take place on 24/25 February 2026.
The conference will still be held at McCormick Place in Chicago, a venue renowned for fostering meaningful connections and showcasing industry innovation. However, a scheduling conflict with the original 2025 dates meant the event could not secure the same space that contributed to the success of the 2024 edition. To uphold the high standards expected of the event, the decision was made to reschedule to February 2026.
All exhibitors booked for the 2025 event have been incredibly understanding and have pledged their continued support for the 2026 edition. Their commitment highlights the significance of this event as a vital platform for progress in the alternative protein and sustainable food industries.
Peter Mortimer, Event Manager, expressed his gratitude, saying, “We’re deeply appreciative of the support we’ve received from our exhibitors during this transition. Their understanding and ongoing commitment ensure that The Future of Protein Production Chicago will continue to serve as a leading event for collaboration and innovation in our industry.”
The new dates will allow organizers to further refine the program, incorporating the latest advancements and ensuring an unparalleled experience for attendees. Registrations for the 2025 dates will automatically transfer to the 2026 event, and exhibitors will be supported to make the most of their participation.
However, you don’t have to wait until 2026 to connect with the alternative protein community. The Future of Protein Production Amsterdam is taking place in the Elicium at RAI Amsterdam on 29/30 October. With more than 60 exhibitors, a free-to-attend exhibition, a dedicated conference, and over 1,000 attendees expected, it’s the perfect opportunity to engage with the latest developments and industry leaders.
