Alt Protein Partners rebrands as Food Impact Partners, expanding its mission to food innovation for a sustainable future

March 19, 2025

Alt Protein Partners, a global recruiting group specializing in the sustainable food industry, has announced its rebranding to Food Impact Partners. The name change reflects the company’s expanded focus on food innovation and sustainability beyond alternative proteins, embracing a wider range of companies and organizations committed to reshaping the food system.

Founded in 2023, the firm initially concentrated on companies developing or supporting non-animal sources of protein. As it has grown, the specialized executive search and recruiting firm has broadened its expertise to encompass food waste reduction, novel fats & oils, sustainable agriculture practices, biodegradable packaging, cell-cultured inputs, functional ingredients, sugar reduction, and nonprofits working towards a better food system. Food Impact Partners has worked with Carlsberg, Mission Barns, Meatable, and the Tufts University Center for Cellular Agriculture, among others, to connect top talent with innovative companies that are transforming the industry.

In October 2024, Food Impact Partners expanded into Europe, hiring Anna Heslop as its new Recruitment Director. The company has built a strong presence in the industry, recruiting for Meatable, Redefine Meat, and Mission Plant, and now claims over 20,000 active users on its job site.

“We feel that ‘Food Impact’ better captures the broader scope of our mission and that of our network of clients and professionals. Our new name reflects our commitment to driving transformation in the food industry,” says Noga Golan, Founder and CEO of Food Impact Partners.

The company’s subsidiary, formerly Alt Protein Careers, will also undergo a rebrand to Food Impact Careers, expanding its career support services to include additional categories of food sustainability alongside plant-based, cultivated, fermentation, and molecular farming technologies. Through Food Impact Careers, the firm provides a job board and free career resources to job seekers in the sustainable food industry, helping them find opportunities in mission-driven companies.

“From the start, our job board’s tagline has been ‘Do something that matters.’ Everyone on our team is here because they want to make a positive impact on the world. Having the term ‘Impact’ front and center in our brand just feels right to us,” said Anna Heslop, Recruitment Director at Food Impact Partners.
