Aleph Farms and BioRaptor launch AI-powered collaboration to strengthen efficiency in cell-cultivated meat production
Aleph Farms, a leader in cultivated meat production, has announced a new collaboration with BioRaptor, a pioneer in AI-powered bioprocess optimization. This partnership aims to leverage AI to streamline and significantly improve the efficiency and scalability of Aleph Farms' cultivated meat production process.
"There are massive amounts of data created during the development of state-of-the-art production bioprocesses," commented Ori Zakin, CEO & Co-Founder of BioRaptor. "By simplifying bioprocess data management and suggesting optimal experimental design, we can enable smoother technological developments for the cellular agriculture industry."
BioRaptor's AI operating system will complement Aleph Farms' scientific expertise, enabling real-time and historical data analysis from various experiments on a single platform. This comprehensive data view will allow researchers to identify optimal conditions for cell growth, leading to faster and more cost-effective scale-up.
"Our team's scientific expertise, combined with BioRaptor's AI solution, will allow us to better understand the interactions between various process inputs and conditions," said Dr Sagit Shalel-Levanon, Senior Director of Process Development at Aleph Farms. "This capability could significantly accelerate the development of robust and scalable processes for cultivated meat production."
Dr Neta Lavon, CTO and Co-Founder of Aleph Farms, emphasized the importance of this collaboration for laying the groundwork for future large-scale production. "Deploying BioRaptor's AI will provide additional support for our team to optimize processes for cost and scalability," Dr Lavon said. "This is a strategic investment to ensure our technology platform is fully optimized before large-scale production begins."
By harnessing the power of AI, Aleph Farms and BioRaptor are working together to unlock the full potential of cellular agriculture and bring cultivated meat to the mainstream market even sooner.
